WHAT HAPPENS TO MY RECYCLING?
Ever wonder what happens to your recycling? Stewardship Ontario has generated an easy-to-read guide showing a wide range of recyclables and their corresponding post-recycle composition. An example would be a cleaned steel container from tuna, which can be recycled into car parts.
Recycling can be rewarding if we can maximize the use of materials after they are thrown away. Recycling programs do vary from region to region and each municipality may have their own recycling guidelines. Follow your local recycling guidelines to help keep recyclable materials out of landfills and back into the production cycle.
Take a moment to browse through the various items and see how your recycling can be reused to create other products. To view the different items see Stewardship Ontario.
