Recycle BC and SK Recycles received a 2027 Canada’s Clean50 Top Project Award for an initiative expanding flexible-plastics collection to more than 300,000 B.C. households between 2024 and 2026.

Dedicated bins and collection vehicles help preserve material quality. The system builds on a local processing solution established in 2022 that turns collected flexible plastics into pellets for manufacturing new products.
